Downtown Winterfest

Meet the real Library Llamas as we help ring in the holidays as part of downtown Elkhart’s Winterfest. The downtown library will be open extended hours until 3 p.m. Centier Bank is our corporate partner for the day, and will be sending each kid home with a free new book.

Also on the schedule:

• Live llamas will be in the building from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Show us your library card to get a pair of official Elkhart Public Llibrary Llama socks!
• For customer appreciation, we’ll have cupcakes, coffee and cocoa from 1 to 3 p.m.
• Kids will be able to make snowflakes to decorate our windows and ornaments to take home.
• Representatives of the U.S. Marine Corps will be collecting Toys for Tots from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring an unopened, unwrapped gift to donate.
