Since the invention of the printing press, people have gotten together in groups to talk about what they’ve read. These groups are supported by the library, and if you have an idea for a new discussion, send us a note.

Readers Roundtable

Around the Table Cookbook Club

Downtown, 5:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month. This new and unique book club combines discussion with a potluck dinner. Select a recipe, make it, bring it to share with the group and the cookbook with the recipe. Each month we’ll choose the theme for the next month.

Books & Boots

Ox Bow County Park, 1 p.m. on the second Friday of the month starting in November. Miss Debbie from the Dunlap Branch and Miss Sarah, a naturalist with the Elkhart County Parks, lead this book discussion at Cottonwood Shelter at Ox Bow Park. Books and Boots is for the whole family but is specifically geared to ages 8-12. Dress for the weather.
