Downtown S.T.E.A.M. lab offers free fun for kids to explore

The downtown Elkhart Public Library now offers free kits for kids to explore in the all-important S.T.E.A.M. categories — science, technology, engineering art and math.

The free S.T.E.A.M. lab is available inside the children’s room downtown from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No library card is needed. Let staff know which kit you’d like to use.

The kits are available for kids ages 6-12 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are self-guided activities.
