Storytime teaches children important early literacy skills. Miss Angie leads this time of reading, singing, talking, and playing together. This Storytime pauses on Oct. 28, Nov. 25, Dec. 23 and 30.
Join Miss Janell and her puppets for an active Storytime of songs, stories, rhymes and creativity. Two 45-minute programs are offered for your convenience, 9:30 and 11 a.m.
Enjoy anime and manga with other fans. We'll share Japanese snacks and make crafts, too.
Bring all the materials you need for your assignment and get one-on-one help from National Honor Society students on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions are available only on days when Elkhart schools are in session.

Junji Ito is known for creepy manga horror art. Submit your best artwork inspired by horror to the downtown library children's desk from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15. Vote for your favorites Oct. 16 to 24. Winners will be announced at Into the Spiral: Exploring Junji Ito's World on Saturday, Oct. 25.
For Día de los Muertos we’re hosting a traditional ofrenda (altar). Remember loved ones who have passed by leaving a note, memory or small offering like a photo, flower or memento.
