7/14/1989 A CBS television crew records the reunion Thursday of Todd Brill and Sheila (left) and Paulette Whitmer. Brill pulled the mother and daughter from their submerged vehicle after it crashed into the St. Joseph River at Six Span Bridge on Oct. 21, 1987. Paulette Whitmer, who was pregnant at the time of the rescue, is holding her son, Todd Alan, whom she named after Brill. CBS is filming a reenactment of the rescue for a television series.
