Harrison P. Berkey, 12/12/1972. Harrison P. Berkey (Republican). Ran for Elkhart County Treasurer in 1968. He worked as a teacher for Elkhart High School and was also head coach there. He was also an IHSAA basketball official and on the selection board of the All-Northern Indiana Conference football teams. Retired from teaching in 1947 and worked for Leist Insurance Company.
