10/23/1967 pg. 13. JOHN G. BEST HALL OF SCIENCE -- The new brick and stone John G. Best Hall of Science at Tri-State College, Angola, was dedicated in ceremonies at the campus Sunday. The $2.5 million structure will provide expanded facilities for instruction in chemistry, physics and biology for Tri-State's 1,800 students.

10/23/1967 SEABORG AND BESTS AT DEDICATION -- Dr. Glenn T. Seaborg (center), chairman of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, chatted with Dr. and Mrs. John G. Best, of 2401 Greenleaf before dedication ceremonies Sunday of the John G. Best Hall of Science at Tri-State College, Angola. Seaborg spoke of science education at the dedication program. Best, chairman of the board of the CTS Corp., holds an honorary doctorate from Tri-State.

SOUTH BEND, IND. -- Dec. 18 -- FOUND DEAD-- John G. Best, 49, chairman of the board, CTS Corp., Elkhart, Ind., was found dead Thursday in the garage of his summer home on Lake Maxinkuckee, near Culver. CTS is an Elkhart-based manufacturer of electronic components. In addition to being chairman of the board, Best was a director of its various subsidaries. He was also a director of J. G.
