A worker helps tear down the last of the old Elkhart High School building Thursday, part of the demolition of the former county courts building on Franklin Street between 2nd and 3rd streets. The building had been used as an annex to the courts building and is being leveled as part of the redevelopment of the entire block. C&E Excavating is the contractor hired to do the job, the city said.
