Churak was to appear this morning before a U.S. Magistrate in South Bend on federal bank robbery charges. Elkhart Juvenile Detective Al Moses was credited by FBI agents with apprehending the man. Moses had just delivered a juvenile offender to the detention center in Goshen, recognized the getaway car from police radio descriptions, gave chase and then helped other pursuing police units zero in on the getaway car from his police car radio.
