Elkhart Public Library understands an important part of its mission involves serving early learners. We offer regular storytimes and other chances for parents to learn more about the critical impact they can have in early literacy. We want to see every child be ready to read and succeed by Grade 3 – it’s why we even made it part of our strategic plan.

To get started on the right path, sign up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, attend one of our in-person or online storytimes, or just stop in and ask for a children’s librarian at any of our locations.
