Everything students need this school year from the library

School deadlines. Parents looking for answers. Elkhart Public Library has the help students need.

Whether it’s looking for homework assistance, tutoring, writing or research guidance, EPL offers a variety of resources to fit all needs.

Check out what’s available on the Digital Library at MyEPL.org/info247

  • Brainfuse – With live tutoring and a writing lab, available 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, Brainfuse is a full-service help center. Plus, Brainfuse offers tools for study groups and skills builders.
  • ABC Mouse – Phonics, math, music and more for early learners ages 3 to 8.
  • TumbleBooks – Young readers up to sixth grade can explore read alongs, animated books, NatGeo videos, graphic novels and Spanish-language books.
  • LearningExpress – This service builds core academics by prepping learners of all ages for college entry exams, GED, and other standardized tests.

Being here for students goes beyond the Digital Library.

For in-person assistance, Homework Help – going on now through May – offers young learners support on classwork from honors students at local schools, on a first-come, first-served basis.

For young readers needing a little boost, Growing Readers is available for ages 3-8 to get kids reading at grade level. The library also offers a kindergarten assessment for parents to learn how ready their child is for school.

Busy families looking for children’s books can request Book Bundles. Give us a little information about your child’s interests, and our librarians will put together some titles for you to pick up. Visit MyEPL.org/Bundle to get started.
